HALLOWEEN has become huge in JAPAN over the last decade. Many people travel to Japan, just to be a part of this huge event and many also go to party. Halloween street parades take places in several locations in TOKYO, usually on or around 30th October, and some areas expects over 10,000 participants. Most go dressed in their Halloween costumes and parade the many streets of Tokyo in their wild and outrageous outfits, celebrating Halloween.
It’s an unofficial event, yet invites the largest of crowds. SHIBUYA, have a MASSIVE CELEBRATION of Halloween each year. On the 30th October, approximately 100,000 people gather at Shibuya scramble crossing, in unique Halloween costumes and have a huge street party celebration, until the early hours of the morning. If you love huge crowds and noisy celebrations, in a chaotic Japanese Halloween tradition, then this is the place to be.
